Meet Lisa Sanchez Silva

I'm Lisa Sanchez Silva, a Bay Area native, former teacher, and the heart behind Bay Stays. My journey into the world of short-term rentals began 13 years ago when I started renting a room in my own home as a teacher so I could have extra money to travel the world. What started as a side hustle quickly grew into a full-fledged passion—and eventually, a thriving business.

As an avid traveler, I've had the opportunity to experience a wide range of accommodations around the world. Those adventures shaped how I approach hospitality today. I believe every guest deserves a space that’s not only comfortable and clean but thoughtfully curated—down to the smallest detail. My mission is to create unforgettable stays that feel both personal and professional, inspired by the things I appreciate most when I travel.

Bathroom Shelves

This is one of the best stays I’ve ever experienced! The house is really wonderful and the location is perfect. You have everything you need to feel right at home, and even more. The place is stocked with anything you could possibly need or want to make your stay super enjoyable. The host is very responsive and the check in and checkout instructions were very clear. I’ll definitely be back! I can’t say enough good things about the host or the home.

To start with, Lisa was a fantastic host. She answered all questions promptly, she was friendly and helpful. The home was gorgeous and very well appointed. The beds were comfortable as well. There was everything there we could've needed for our stay from board games to beach towels & beach gear, she thought of everything. Though it didn't apply to us, there were even things provided to make the stay comfortable for families with infants and small children. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway to the coast with family and friends. We were all very pleased!

This place was amazing! We made memories to last forever. Lisa at Bay Stays was the best host we’ve ever had. She responded almost immediately which was really appreciative. So polite and patient. This trip was very important. I’m raising my nephew (13) since he lost both parents recently.
